Lecey is a French commune with 210 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Langres and to the municipality association Grand Langres, founded in 2017 .

geography

Lecey is located in the northeast of the Langres plateau , about five kilometers east of Langres on the Réservoir de la Liez reservoir . Lecey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Orbigny-au-Val in the north, Orbigny-au-Mont in the east and north-east, Celsoy in the east, Chatenay-Vaudin in the east and south-east, Saint-Maurice in the south and west and Peigney in the north-west.
