Until the canton was reorganized nationwide in 2015, the canton of Langres consisted of the 22 municipalities of Balesmes-sur-Marne , Champigny-lès-Langres , Chanoy , Chatenay-Mâcheron , Courcelles-en-Montagne , Culmont , Faverolles , Humes-Jorquenay , Langres (main town ), Marac , Mardor , Noidant-le-Rocheux , Ormancey , Peigney , Perrancey-les-Vieux-Moulins , Saint-Ciergues , Saints-Geosmes , Saint-Martin-lès-Langres , Saint-Maurice , Saint-Vallier-sur- Marne , Vauxbons and Voisines . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​267.14 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 5216.
