The canton of Saint-Dizier-1 is a French constituency in the arrondissement of Saint-Dizier in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region . Its main town is Saint-Dizier .
history
The canton was created on March 22, 2015 as part of the reorganization of the cantons. Until 2015, its communes belonged to the cantons of Saint-Dizier-Ouest (all communes) and Wassy (Allichamps and Louvemont). There are also districts in the south and west of the city of Saint-Dizier.

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the four candidate pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, Luc Hispart / Laurence Leverrier (both FN) won against Ghislaine Delorme / Franck Raimbault (both DVD ) with a share of the vote of 52.25% (turnout: 50.89%).
