Louvemont is a commune with 701 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in France , in the arrondissement of Saint-Dizier , in the west of the Haute-Marne department , in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). Louvemont belongs to the canton of Saint-Dizier-1 (until 2015 Wassy ). The inhabitants are called Louvemonais .

Louvemont is about nine kilometers south-southwest of the city center of Saint-Dizier . Louvemont is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Allichamps in the north, Humbécourt in the north and north-east, Attancourt in the east and south-east, Wassy in the south and south-east, Voillecomte in the south and south-west, Frampas in the south-west and Éclaron-Braucourt-Sainte-Livière in the west and north-west.
