Voillecomte is a French commune with 532 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Dizier and to the municipal association of Saint-Dizier, Der et Blaise, founded in 2016, and to the canton of Wassy . The residents call themselves Voillecomtois .

geography

Voillecomte is located in the sparsely populated southern Champagne , about 17 kilometers south-southwest of Saint-Dizier . Voillecomte is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Frampas in the north and north-west, Louvemont in the north and north-east, Wassy in the east and south-east, Laneuville-à-Rémy in the south and Robert-Magny in the south and west.
