Éclaron-Braucourt-Sainte-Livière is a French commune in the arrondissement of Saint-Dizier in the west of the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region . Éclaron-Braucourt-Sainte-Livière belongs to the canton of Saint-Dizier-1 .

geography
Éclaron-Braucourt-Sainte-Livière is located on the Blaise River , about eight kilometers southwest of Saint-Dizier . The Reservoir de Champaubert , the eastern part of the largest reservoir in France, Lac du Der-Chantecoq , is located in the municipal area. The municipality is divided into the localities of Sainte-Livière in the west of the municipality, Braucourt in the south and Éclaron in the north and northeast of the municipality.
history
The municipalities of Éclaron and Braucourt were merged in 1972, and in 1975 Sainte-Livière, which at that time still belonged to the Marne department , was added.
Beraudi Curia , today's Braucourt, was first mentioned in the 8th century. In 992 Sclarons (today: Éclaron) was first handed down. Sainte-Livière is first mentioned in 1135.
