Laneuville-au-Pont is a French commune with 209 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Dizier , to the canton of Saint-Dizier-1 (until 2015: canton of Saint-Dizier-Ouest ) and to the municipality association of Saint-Dizier, Der et Blaise, founded in 2016 . The inhabitants are called Laneuvillois .
geography
Laneuville-au-Pont is seven kilometers west-southwest of the city center of Saint-Dizier and about 73 kilometers northeast of Troyes on the Marne River and on the eastern edge of the Champagne sèche , the "dry Champagne". Laneuville-au-Pont is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Hallignicourt in the north, Saint-Dizier in the east, Moëslains in the southeast, Éclaron-Braucourt-Sainte-Livière in the south and Ambrières in the west.
