Dommartin-le-Saint-Père is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bailly-aux-Forges in the north, Dommartin-le-Franc in the northeast, Courcelles-sur-Blaise in the east and northeast, Baudrecourt in the east and southeast, Doulevant-le-Château in the South, Sommevoire in the west and Mertrud in the west and north-west.
