Sommevoire is a French commune with 693 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Dizier and to the municipal association of Saint-Dizier, Der et Blaise, founded in 2016 . The residents call themselves Sommevigériens .
geography
Sommevoire is located in the sparsely populated southern Champagne , about 25 kilometers southwest of Saint-Dizier . Sommevoire is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Porte du Der in the north, Mertrud in the east and northeast, Dommartin-le-Saint-Père in the east and southeast, Doulevant-le-Château in the southeast, Blumeray and Nully in the south, Trémilly in the southwest and Thilleux and ceffonds to the west and northwest.
