Aingoulaincourt is a French commune with 13 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Dizier and the association of municipalities Bassin de Joinville en Champagne, founded in 2013 . The inhabitants are called Aingoulaincourtois .
geography
The small community of Aingoulaincourt is located between the northern edge of the Langres plateau and the Barrois landscape , about 30 kilometers southeast of Saint-Dizier and 30 kilometers northeast of Neufchâteau . The 5.1 km² municipal area has only slight differences in altitude and has no surface running water. Heavy rainfall can drain northeast to the Saulx River . In the west of the municipality, Le Chênoi, an approx. 100 hectare forest area, spreads out here in the southwestern tip of the municipality, at 371 m above sea level, the highest point. Aingoulaincourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pansey in the north, Échenay in the east, Sailly in the south and Montreuil-sur-Thonnance in the west.

Economy and Infrastructure
There are two farms in the municipality of Aingoulaincourt (cereal growing, cattle breeding). In the north the community has a share in a wind farm.
Aingoulaincourt is away from the major national traffic flows. In the north-west of the municipality, the D60 runs from Joinville to Saudron . 25 kilometers north of Aingoulainville there is a connection in Stainville to the motorway-like RN 4 from Saint-Dizier to Toul . In the small town of Joinville, ten kilometers to the west, the nearest train station is on the Blesme-Haussignémont-Chaumont railway line .
