Magneux is located about 15 kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Saint-Dizier . Magneux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Troisfontaines-la-Ville in the north, Sommancourt in the east, Valleret in the south, Brousseval in the southwest and Wassy in the west.
