Doulevant-le-Château is a French commune with 363 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Dizier , to the canton of Joinville (until 2015 canton of Doulevant-le-Château ) and to the community association Bassin de Joinville en Champagne . The inhabitants are called Doulevantais .

Doulevant-le-Château is about 28 kilometers south of Saint-Dizier . Doulevant-le-Château is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Dommartin-le-Saint-Père in the north, Baudrecourt in the northeast, Charmes-la-Grande in the east, Cirey-sur-Blaise in the south and southeast, Arnancourt in the south, Blumeray in the west and Southwest and Sommevoire in the northwest.

The former Route nationale 60 runs through the municipality .
