Troisfontaines-la-Ville is located about eleven kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Saint-Dizier . Troisfontaines-la-Ville is surrounded by the neighboring communities Eurville-Bienville in the north, Bayard-sur-Marne in the north and east, Rachecourt-sur-Marne in the south-east, Maizières in the south and south-east, Sommancourt and Magneux in the south, Wassy in the south-west, Attancourt in the west and Humbécourt in the northwest.

history

In 1972 the municipalities of Avrainville , Flornoy , Troisfontaines and Villiers-aux-Bois were merged to form today's municipality of Troisfontaines-la-Ville.
