Frampas is a French commune with 161 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Marne department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Champagne-Ardenne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Dizier and to the municipal association of Saint-Dizier, Der et Blaise, founded in 2016 . The inhabitants call themselves Frampasiens .

geography

Frampas is located in the sparsely populated southern Champagne , about 18 kilometers southwest of Saint-Dizier . Frampas is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Éclaron-Braucourt-Sainte-Livière in the north, Louvemont in the east and northeast, Voillecomte in the south and east, La Porte du Der in the south and Planrupt in the west and southwest.
