Maximilian Auste (born January 27, 1997 in Berlin ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Auste came to the sport through his parents, who were both volleyball players. He started his own career at the Berlin TSC . In 2014 he joined the VC Olympia Berlin junior team , with whom he played in the Bundesliga in the 2014/15 season and in the second division north a year later. In 2015/16 he also had a double play right for the Berlin Recycling Volleys . With the German juniors, the diagonal attacker reached fourth place at the U19 European Championship in 2015 and became the tournament's best scorer. At the U20 European Championship in 2016, he came sixth with the team. In the 2016/17 season he again had double play rights for the VCO and the BR Volleys, where he missed the second half of the season due to a knee injury. In 2017 Auste moved to the Austrian club UVC Graz , with which he also played in the Challenge Cup . Then he was obliged by the Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen . In the 2018/19 season he reached the quarter-finals in the DVV Cup and ninth place in the Bundesliga with the club .
