James Weir (born July 20, 1995 in Saskatoon , Canada ) is an Australian volleyball player .
Career
Weir was born in Canada but moved to Australia with his family. There he began his career at Canberra Heat in 2013 . With the club he became Australian runner-up in the 2013/14 season. He also had a scholarship from the Australian Institute of Sport and played on the junior national team. From 2014 to 2019, the middle blocker studied at Brandon University and played on the university team Bobcats. In 2019 he took part in the Nations League with the Australian national team. He then moved to the German Bundesliga club TV Rottenburg .
