Theo Timmermann (born September 14, 1996 in Königs Wusterhausen ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Theo Timmermann is the nephew of the shot putter Ulf Timmermann , who became Olympic champion in 1988 . Since 2006 he has been playing for the Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen . In the 2013/14 season he played in the second Bundesliga North and made promotion to the Bundesliga with the club from his hometown. In the 2014/15 season, the outside attacker was eliminated with the Netzhoppers in the round of 16 of the DVV Cup and made it to the playoff quarter-finals in the Bundesliga . A year later there was again the early cup exit and in the Bundesliga the Netzhoppers had to admit defeat in the pre-playoffs. In the 2016/17 season, Timmermann reached the semi-finals in the DVV Cup and the playoff quarter-finals with the team .

In 2020 the beach volleyball duo Sievers / Timmermann reached third place in the first edition of the Beach League .
