Milan Sievers (born March 14, 1998 in Kiel ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Sievers played indoor volleyball as a youth at the Kieler Randgemeindenverein SC Strande , with whom he was several times Schleswig-Holstein youth champion and took part in German youth championships. After a few appearances at MTV in Kiel , Sievers has been playing for second division club Kieler TV since February 2019 .

Career Beach

Sievers has also been playing beach volleyball since 2013. Until 2015 he was mainly active at the side of his Strander teammates Max Behlen and Momme Wittmüss at North German tournaments and various youth championships. Sievers became national champions several times in different age groups. With Wittmüss he reached ninth place at the U18 European championship in Kristiansand, Norway in 2014 and third place at the German U19 championship in Kiel-Schilksee in 2015 . After several tournaments with Thomas Kröger , Sievers and Freiburg's Sven Winter 2015 came ninth at the U18 European Championships in Riga . In 2016 Sievers / Winter became German U19 champions in Kiel-Schilksee and took fifth place at the U19 World Cup in Larnaka, Cyprus .

Max-Jonas Karpa from Hamburg has been his partner since 2017 . Karpa / Sievers started on the national Smart Beach Tour and also took part in the German championship in Timmendorfer Strand . In 2018 they started on the national Techniker Beach Tour and won the FIVB 1-star tournament in Manila . At the German championship they finished 13th again. Then Sievers ended his professional beach career at the age of only 20 and only played on the national Techniker Beach Tour 2019 alongside Marcus Popp . Sievers / Popp achieved fifth place in the German championship . In 2020 Sievers was used in the Beach League and reached third place. Sievers and Simon Pfretzschner qualified for the German championship via the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 .
