The canton of Nogent is a French constituency in the arrondissements of Chaumont and Langres in the Haute-Marne department and in the Grand Est region ; its main town is Nogent . Michel Brocard was the representative in the General Council of the Department from 2001 to 2009, followed by Anne-Marie Nédelec from 2009 to 2015. Francis Arnoud and Anne-Marie Nedelec have been representatives on the General Council since 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the canton in 2015, the canton of Nogent consisted of the 16 municipalities of Ageville , Biesles , Esnouveaux , Is-en-Bassigny , Lanques-sur-Rognon , Louvières , Mandres-la-Côte , Marnay-sur-Marne , Ninville , Nogent ( Main town), Poinson-lès-Nogent , Poulangy , Sarcey , Thivet , Vesaignes-sur-Marne and Vitry-lès-Nogent . Its layout corresponded to an area of 254.00 km². Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 5221.
