Aprey is a French commune in the department of Haute-Marne in the region Grand Est . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Langres and is part of the canton of Villegusien-le-Lac (until 2015: Longeau-Percey ). The municipality has 187 residents (as of January 1, 2017).

Aprey is about 38 kilometers southeast of Chaumont . The river Vingeanne has its source here . Aprey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Flagey in the north and northeast, Villiers-lès-Aprey in the south and east, Aujeurres in the south and Auberive in the west.

The A31 autoroute runs through the municipality .
