Le Montsaugeonnais is an existing since 1 January 2016 commune in the French department of Haute-Marne in the region Grand Est . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Langres and the canton of Villegusien-le-Lac . The Commune nouvelle was created by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Prauthoy , Montsaugeon and Vaux-sous-Aubigny . Prauthoy is the main town (chief-lieu).
