View of the place with the church, early 20th century

In Vivey is the parish church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité, a Church of the Nativity , which was a branch of the parish in Praslay until 1863 . It is dated to the 13th century, but was later extensively redesigned. Tower, vault and openings were probably modernized at the end of the 18th century or in the early 19th century. Two statues and two altars are listed in the Palissy Base for Movable Cultural Property. A 2.60 m high cross from the 15th century in front of the apse is recorded in the Base Mérimée for architectural monuments, with a base it is almost 5 m high.

François Rouxel de Médavy

To the east of the church is the Château de Vivey, located in a park. The castle was built by François Rouxel de Médavy (1604–1691) from Grancey-le-Château-Neuvelle in the 17th century. In the meantime it was used as the hotel-restaurant Le Relais du Lys , but is now empty.

To the north of the church there is a wash house renovated in 1990, reminiscent of life in the 19th century.
