Yeardley Smith
Martha Maria Yeardley Smith (born July 3, 1964 in Paris , France ) is an American actress and voice actress .
She is best known as the English dubbing voice of Lisa Simpson in The Simpsons .
Yeardley Smith is the daughter of JY Smith , a Washington Post journalist . From 1990 to 1992 she was married to Christopher Grove.
In 2018 she was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
