Harrys Nest (Original Title: Empty Nest ) is an American sitcom that was produced from 1988 to 1995. It is a spin-off of the Golden Girls series . Hello Sister! is again a spin-off from Harrys Nest . Through mutual guest appearances and crossovers, the three series together with Golden Palace form a common series universe .

The pediatrician Dr. Harry Weston has recently been a widower. But already in the first episodes, his divorced daughter Carol and her sister Barbara move back in with their father. Since they are neighbors of the Golden Girls , regular mutual visits are inevitable.
