Park Overall (born March 15, 1957 in Greeneville , Tennessee ) is an American actress .
Life and accomplishments
Overall moved to New York City , where she appeared in a few off-off Broadway plays . She got her first film role in the action thriller fear in the neck from 1988. In the comedy Biloxi Blues (1988) by Mike Nichols , she played the prostitute Rowena on the side of Matthew Broderick and Christopher Walken . She had previously played the same role in the play by Neil Simon , who also wrote the screenplay for the film.
From 1989 to 1991 Overall appeared in the television series Harrys Nest in the role of the clinic assistant Laverne , for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1991, 1992 and 1993 . In 1989, 1990 and 1991 she received a Viewers for Quality Television Award for the same role . In 1998, she played the mother of the underage pregnant Tina Spangler in the film drama Too Young for a Baby , played by Kirsten Dunst .
