Marsha Warfield

Marsha Warfield (born March 5, 1954 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress and comedian .

Life

Warfield began her career in 1977 as a stand-up comedian on the Richard Pryor Show . After a few minor roles, she got the role of Ophelia in Joel Schumacher's comedy Die Chaotenclique in 1983 . The following year she played the skipper of the Contessa in the television series Trio with Four Fists after Anne Francis left , but the role was dropped after a few episodes.

In 1985 she starred in a supporting role in Peter Bogdanovich's film drama The Mask alongside Cher and Eric Stoltz . She also gained notoriety among German-speaking audiences as the court clerk Rosalind "Roz" Russell in the sitcom Harry's Wondrous Criminal Court , which she played in 131 episodes between 1986 and 1992. In between, she starred in the comedy film Caddyshack II in 1988 . After the series ended, she starred in the last two seasons of the sitcom Harry's Nest in 50 episodes of Dr. Maxine Douglas . Between 1990 and 1992, she also hosted the talk show The Marsha Warfield Show . Most recently she appeared in guest roles in various television series such as Clueless - Die Chaos-Clique and Veronica .
