Rhizlane Siba (born February 29, 1996 ) is a Moroccan high jumper .

Athletic career

Rhizlane Siba gained her first international experience at the 2011 Arab Championships in al-Ain , where she won the gold medal with a jump of 1.76 m, as well as at the subsequent Pan-Arab Games in Doha with a height of 1.76 m. The following year she won the bronze medal at the African Championships in Porto-Novo with 1.75 m behind Lissa Labiche from the Seychelles and the South African Anika Smit . In 2013 she won the African Youth Championships in Warri in the high jump with 1.80 m and won the bronze medal in the Moroccan sprint relay (1000 meters) in 2: 23.83 minutes. She then defended her title at the Arab Championships in Doha with 1.76 m and won the bronze medal at the Youth World Championships in Donetsk with 1.79 m. Then she also won the Junior African Championships in Réduit with a jump of 1.75 m. In 2014 she was eliminated from the qualification at the Junior World Championships in Eugene with 1.79 m, but then won the African Championships in Marrakech with 1.80 m and was seventh in the Athletics Continental Cup there with 1.79 m.

In 2015 she won the bronze medal at the Junior African Championships in Addis Ababa with 1.75 m and then had to admit defeat to the Egyptian Basant Hassan at the Arab Championships in Manama with 1.75 m . The following year she took part again in the African Championships in Durban and was there sixth with a height of 1.73 m. Two years later she reached fifth place at the African Championships in Asaba with 1.75 m. In 2019 she took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time and won the silver medal behind the Ghanaian Rose Yeboah with a jump of 1.81 m .

In 2013 and 2014 Siba became the Moroccan high jump champion.
