African Athletics Championships

The Athletics Africa Championships are competitions which since 1979 by the African continental association Confederation of African Athletics are performed to African champions in individual track and field events to be determined.

After the rhythm was initially irregular, the African Championships have always been held in the even calendar years since 1996.
