1985 African Athletics Championships

The 4th African Athletics Championships took place from August 15th to 18th at the Cairo International Stadium . Cairo hosted the African Athletics Championships for the second time since 1982.

Decisions were made in 23 disciplines for men and 17 disciplines for women. 324 athletes from 24 countries took part.
