Anni Kraus

Anni Kraus (born Anni Schumlitz ; born April 2, 1897 in Mutters ; † May 7, 1986 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian dialect writer.

Life

From 1922 Kraus wrote his first prose works in High German for newspapers. This was followed by a study of dialect from 1936. The first book was published in 1950. Kraus, who wrote over 1,000 dialect poems, was well known in the region. There is also a record with a Christmas reading by the author.
