Das Stade 19 Mai 1956 ( German Stadion des 19. Mai 1956 , Arabic ملعب 19 ماي 1956) is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the city of Annaba in northeast Algeria . It was built in 1987 and has a capacity of 50,000 spectators.
In 1990 the stadium was next to Stade 5 Juillet 1962 in Algiers one of the two venues for the African Cup of Nations . A total of seven games were played in the Stade on 19 May 1956, including six group games and one semi-finals.
