Ahmed Amgad el-Seify ( Arabic أحمد أمجد الصيفي, DMG Aḥmad Amǧad aṣ-Ṣaifī ; * October 1, 1996 ) is a Qatari hammer thrower .

Career

Ahmed Amgad el-Seify gained his first international experience at the World Youth Championships 2013 in Donetsk , where he finished fifth with a width of 77.33 m. The following year he won the silver medal at the Junior Asian Championships in Taipei with 68.90 m and qualified for the Junior World Championships in Eugene , where he was eliminated with 71.69 m in the first round. In 2017 he finished seventh at the Islamic Solidarity Games with 66.28 m, as well as at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar with a width of 67.81 m. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and finished eighth with 65.33 m. The following year he came in tenth place at the Asian Championships in Doha with 65.08 m.
