Klaudia Kardasz (born May 2, 1996 in Białystok ) is a Polish shot putter .

Athletic career

Klauda Kardasz gained her first international experience in 2013 at the Youth World Championships in Donetsk , where she finished fifth with 16.98 m, as well as at the Junior World Championships in Eugene the following year with 16.29 m. In 2015 she was fourth at the Junior European Championships in Eskilstuna with 16.80 m and in 2017 she won the silver medal behind the Swede Fanny Roos at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz with 17.67 m . She also qualified for the World Championships in London , where she was eliminated with 17.52 m in the preliminary round. Two weeks later she won the silver medal behind Canada's Brittany Crew with 17.90 m at the Summer Universiade . In 2018 she took part in the European Championships in Berlin and just barely missed a medal there with 18.48 m in fourth. In 2019 she finished fifth at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow with 18.23 m. In July she again took part in the Student World Games in Naples , where she won the bronze medal with 17.65 m behind the Canadian Sarah Mitton and Portious Warren from Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2016 Kardasz became Polish champion in outdoor shot put and in 2019 indoor.
