Portious Warren gained her first experience in international competitions at the CARIFTA Games 2012 in Hamilton , where she won the bronze medal with the 3 kg ball with 13.00 m. The following year she took part in the Youth World Championships in Donetsk and was eliminated there with 14.90 m in qualification. At the CARIFTA Games 2014 in Fort-de-France , she won the bronze medal with the adult ball with 12.70 m and was sixth in the javelin throw with 36.20 m. She then won the Central America and Caribbean Junior Championships (CAC) in Morelia with 14.47 m and then retired from the qualification at the Junior World Championships in Eugene with 14.22 m. In 2015 she won the CARIFTA Games in Basseterre with 15.22 m and at the Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton she won the silver medal with 15.57 m. The following year she finished sixth at the U23 NACAC championships in San Salvador with 15.31 m and in 2017 she took part in the Summer Universiade in Taipei for the first time , where she came in twelfth with 15.03 m. In 2018 she was sixth in the shot put at the Central America and Caribbean Games in Cochabamba with 16.22 m and seventh in the discus throw with 51.71 m. In 2019 she won the silver medal behind the Canadian Sarah Mitton at the Student World Games in Naples with 17.82 m . Then she was ninth at the Pan American Games in Lima with a push of 16.55 m and failed to make a valid attempt in the discus competition.
In 2013 and 2017, Warren became the Trinidadian-Tobagian champion in the shot put and in 2019 in the discus throw.
