Sarah Mitton (born June 20, 1996 ) is a Canadian shot putter .

Athletic career

Sarah Mitton gained her first experience in international competitions in 2015 at the Pan American Junior Championships in Edmonton , where she finished fourth with 14.57 m. In 2017 she took part in the Summer Universiade in Taipei for the first time and reached tenth place with 16.32 m. Two years later she won the Student World Games in Naples with 18.31 m and at the Pan American Games in Lima she was sixth with a push of 17.62 m. She then took part in the World Championships in Doha , but retired there with 17.24 m in qualification .
