The shot put women at the 2019 World Championships in Athletics took place on 2 and 3 October 2019 in Doha , Qatar instead.

27 athletes from 18 countries took part in the competition. Gong Lijiao won the gold medal with 19.55 m, silver went to Danniel Thomas-Dodd with 19.47 m and Christina Schwanitz secured the bronze medal with 19.17 m.

qualification

The qualification distance was at least 18.40 m to move directly into the final. Nine athletes made this mark or pushed ahead, they are highlighted in light blue.
