The men's hammer throw at the 2019 World Athletics Championships took place in Doha , Qatar on October 1st and 2nd, 2019 .

31 athletes from 20 countries took part in the competition. The gold medal was won by Paweł Fajdek with 80.50 m, silver went to Quentin Bigot with 78.19 m and the bronze medal went to Bence Halász with 78.18 m and, after an objection, Wojciech Nowicki with 77.69 m.

The qualification distance was at least 76.50 m to move directly into the final. Seven athletes made this mark or threw on, they are highlighted in light blue.
