The men's 800-meter run at the 2019 World Athletics Championships took place on September 28, 29 and October 1, 2019 in Doha , Qatar .

45 athletes from 28 countries took part in the competition. Donavan Brazier won the gold medal in a new championship record of 1: 42.34 minutes. Silver went to Amel Tuka with 1: 43.47 min and Ferguson Cheruiyot Rotich secured the bronze medal with 1: 43.82 min.
