Roberto Belo Amaral Soares (born May 13, 2002 ) is an East Timorese athlete who specializes in middle-distance running.

Career

Roberto Belo Amaral Soares gained his first experience in international championships at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta , where he was eliminated in the first round of the 1,500 meter run with 4: 07.92 minutes. The following year, thanks to a wildcard, he was allowed to take part in the world championships in Doha in the 800-meter run , where he was also eliminated with 2: 02.43 minutes in advance . He then finished eleventh over 800 meters at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 2: 01.64 minutes and fifth over 1500 meters in 4: 15.51 minutes.
