Samer Ali Saleh al-Johar (born July 18, 2001 ) is a Jordanian middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter run .

Athletic career

Samer Ali Saleh al-Johar gained his first experience in international championships at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires , where he was disqualified in one run and therefore his second run was not enough. The following year he was allowed to take part in the World Championships in Doha thanks to a wildcard , where he was also disqualified in the preliminary stages.

In 2018 and 2019, al-Johar became the Jordanian champion in the 800-meter run.
