Mark English
Mark English (born March 18, 1993 ) is an Irish middle -distance runner who has specialized in the 800-meter distance and is also used in the 4-by-400-meter relay because of his sprint strength .
At the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow, he was eliminated in the preliminary run.
In 2014 he did not get past the first round at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Sopot . At the European Athletics Championships in Zurich he won bronze over 800 m and came in fifth place with the Irish 4 x 400 meter relay, and fourth at the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech .
In the following year he won silver in the 800 m at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 2015 . At the World Championships in Beijing, he reached the semi-finals over 800 m and was eliminated in the 4-by-400-meter relay in the preliminary run.
