Mohamed El Nour Mohamed (born March 18, 1996 ) is a Qatari sprinter and medium-distance runner who starts over 400 and 800 meters.

Athletic career

Mohamed El Nour Mohamed gained his first experience in international championships at the Arab Youth Championships 2013 in Cairo , where he won the silver medal over 800 meters and gold with the Qatari sprint relay (1000 meters). He then took part in the Youth World Championships in Donetsk , where he reached the semi-finals in the 800-meter run , in which he was eliminated with 1: 50.66 minutes. He also finished fourth in the sprint relay. In 2014 he won the gold medal in the 800 meters and bronze with the 4 x 400 meter relay at the Junior Asian Championships in Taipei . He then took part in the Junior World Championships in Eugene over 800 meters , but was eliminated there with 1: 55.17 minutes in the lead. In 2015 he won the Qatari relay in 3: 02.50 min at the Asian Championships in Wuhan . He then reached the semi-finals in the 400-meter run at the Military World Games in Mungyeon, South Korea and could not qualify for the final with the relay.

In 2018 he took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran and won there in 3: 10.08 min with the relay. At the end of August he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and won the Katartian relay with a new Asian record of 3: 00.56 minutes ahead of India and Japan.
