Fátima Diame gained her first international experience at the 2013 Youth World Championships in Donetsk , where she was eliminated with 5.98 m in the long jump qualification, as well as at the Junior World Championships in Eugene the following year with 6.00 m. The following year she won the bronze medal at the Junior European Championships in Eskilstuna, Sweden, with 6.55 m and in 2016 she was sixth at the U23 Mediterranean Games in Radès with 5.94 m . At the U23 European Championships 2017 in Bydgoszcz she finished fifth with 13.60 m in the triple jump and was eliminated in the long jump with 6.03 m in the qualification. For a good three weeks she was eliminated from the qualification at the World Championships in London with 13.36 m . In 2018 she won the U23 Mediterranean Games in Jesolo with 13.82 m in the triple jump and won with 6.15 m silver in the long jump behind the Portuguese Evelise Veiga . Then she won the bronze medal at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona with 6.68 m and 13.92 m respectively. So she qualified for the European Championships in Berlin , where she was eliminated with 6.24 m in the qualification. Then she won the bronze medal at the Ibero-American Championships in Trujillo with 6.51 m.
In 2013 and 2017 Diame was the Spanish champion with the 4 x 100 meter relay as well as in the long jump in the hall in 2014 and 2018 and in 2014 also in the 60 meter run .
