Lisa Marie Nippgen (born April 2, 1997 in Ludwigsburg ) is a German athlete who specializes in sprints and also runs relays .

career path

Nippgen is a student. She was initially at the University of Ludwigshafen am Rhein and is now studying corporate law at the University of Mannheim as a scholarship holder .

Athletic career

In 2014 and 2015, Nippgen took fifth and sixth places in youth championships over 100 and 200 meters as well as in relays .

In 2016 she reached her first national podium at the German U20 championships over 100 m when she won bronze. At her DM premiere in the women's division, Nippgen was eliminated from the German championships in the 100 and 200 meter prelims. Internationally, she was a team member at the U20 World Championships in the 4 x 100 meter relay , but was not used.

In 2017, Nippgen was again on the podium at the German Indoor University Championships with bronze over 200 meters, and she had achieved 4th place over 60 meters. At the German Indoor Championships , she finished sixth over 200 meters. In May, Nippgen was German university champion over this distance, over 100 meters she came in 4th place. She also took fourth place at the German U23 championships on the 100 and 200 meter courses. Internationally, Nippgen came 7th in the final of the U23 European Championships .

In 2018, Nippgen became German indoor runner-up over 200 meters and took 3rd place over 60 meters.

Nippgen is in the perspective of the German Athletics Association (DLV) .

Club affiliations

Lisa Nippgen has been working for MTG Mannheim since 2019 . From 2017 she was at LAZ Ludwigsburg after the LAZ Salamander Kornwestheim-Ludwigsburg had dissolved. Her first club was TSV Schwieberdingen until 2011 .
