Neja Filipič (born April 22, 1995 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian long and triple jumper .

Athletic career

Neja Filipič gained her first international experience in 2016 at the U23 Mediterranean Games in Tunis , where she won the silver medal with a width of 6.20 m. She also qualified for the European Championships in Amsterdam , where she was eliminated in the preliminary round with 6.24 m. The following year she came in sixth place at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz with 6.42 m. In 2018 she took part again in the European Championships in Berlin , but did not make a valid attempt in qualifying. In 2019 she finished 21st at the European Games in Minsk with 5.99 m and then won the bronze medal in the triple jump at the Summer Universiade in Naples with 13.73 m behind Ukrainian Olha Korsun and Evelise Veiga from Portugal. In addition, she was eliminated in the long jump with 6.11 m in the qualification.

In 2019 Filipič became Slovenian champion in the long jump outdoors and in 2020 in the triple jump. In the hall she won the long jump in 2019 and the triple jump in 2020.
