Lore Hoffmann (born July 25, 1996 ) is a Swiss middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter run .

Athletic career

Lore Hoffmann gained her first international experience at the U23 European Championships 2017 in Bydgoszcz , where she finished fifth in 2: 05.65 minutes. The following year she qualified for the European Championships in Berlin , where she reached the semi-finals and was eliminated there with 2: 01.67 minutes. In 2019 she took part in the Summer Universiade in Naples , where she finished fourth in 2: 02.58 min. At the World Championships in Doha , she retired with 2: 03.40 minutes in the first round .

In 2017, Hoffmann became Swiss champion in the 800-meter run outdoors and in 2016 indoors.
