Marcelina Witek (born June 2, 1995 in Słupsk ) is a Polish javelin thrower .
Athletic career
Marcelina Witek made her international appearance for the first time at the 2011 World Youth Championships near Lille , where she was eliminated from qualification with a width of 44.71 m. At the Junior European Championships in Rieti in 2013 she finished eighth with 51.29 m and in 2014 she was fourth at the Junior World Championships in Eugene t with a throw of 54.14 m. At the U23 European Championships in 2015 in Tallinn , she finished tenth with 50.38 m. In 2016 she qualified for the first time for the European Championships in Amsterdam , where she was eliminated in qualification with 550.03 m. In 2017 she won the bronze medal at the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz with 63.03 m. So she qualified for the World Championships in London , where she was eliminated as 22nd of the qualification . Two weeks later she won the World Student Games in Taipei with a new record of 63.31 m.
In 2015, 2017 and 2018 Witek became the Polish javelin champion.
