Anna Bühler (born June 3, 1997 in Öhringen , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German athlete who has specialized in the long jump . Her greatest sporting success so far is bronze at the 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei .

career path

Anna Bühler attended the all-day high school in Osterburken and graduated from high school in 2015. At that age, she still wanted to become a police officer in the state police. Finally, she was sporting a soldier and a student at the PH Ludwigsburg on teaching .

Athletic career

Anna Bühler was already active at Unterländer LG in 2008 .

In 2010 she became district champion in the W13 class in the all-around competition with 2,048 points, with which Bühler set a record in Franconia that was only surpassed in May 2017.

In 2014, Bühler won the Baden-Württemberg U20 state championship title with a width of 6.06 m, jumping 10 cm further than the German winner in the adult class. In her first appearance on the world stage at the U20 World Championships in Eugene , she was eliminated in qualification. At the youth championships, Bühler was German U18 runner-up .

In 2015, Bühler came 4th at the indoor youth championships and 3rd at the German U20 championships . Internationally, she became U20 Vice European Champion with a personal best of 6.55 m in Eskilstuna .

In 2016, Bühler was able to call herself German U20 champion and came in 6th place in her second appearance on the world stage in Bydgoszcz at the U20 World Championships .

In 2017 she won two runner-up titles, nationally that of the German U23 runner-up and internationally in Bydgoszcz that of the U23 runner -up European champion . At the Summer Universiade in Taipei , Bühler made 3rd place.

In 2018, Bühler missed the indoor season and entry into the outdoor season due to thigh problems.

Bühler belongs to the perspective squad of the German Athletics Association (DLV) and was previously in the B squad .
