Wital Schuk gained his first international experience at the 2015 European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna , Sweden , where he finished eighth with 7,315 points. Two years later he took part in the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz and was fourth there with 7921 points. At the European Championships in Berlin in 2018 , Schuk took bronze with a new record of 8,290 points behind the German Arthur Abele and the Russian Ilya Schkurenjow , who competed under a neutral flag.
In 2017 Schuk became the Belarusian decathlon champion and in 2018 the heptathlon indoor champion. On April 21, 2017, he married the Belarusian pole vaulter Iryna Schuk .
