Ilja Jurjewitsch Schkurenjow ( Russian Илья Юрьевич Шкуренёв , English Ilya Shkurenyov / Shkurenev ; born January 11, 1991 in Linjowo , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian decathlete .

At the 2010 World Junior Athletics Championships in Moncton, he won silver.

In 2012 he was fourth in the heptathlon at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Istanbul , won bronze at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki and came in 16th at the Olympic Games in London .

In 2013 he was fifth in the heptathlon at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Gothenburg , won silver at the U23 European Athletics Championships in Tampere and finished eighth at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow .

He won bronze at the 2014 European Championships in Zurich. In 2015 he won the heptathlon at the European Indoor Championships in Prague and came fourth at the World Championships in Beijing .

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2019 in Glasgow , Shkurenev won the bronze medal.
